Booking on to a Splash Central course at any of our venues, forms an agreement to the terms and conditions set out below. In the unlikely event of a customer failing to abide by these terms and conditions, a customer may be requested to discontinue lessons with Splash Central. In this instance Splash Central will be under no obligation to provide a refund for any outstanding lessons.

Bookings

Spaces are booked and paid for according to the duration of the term - the space will be reserved for the duration of the term.  


  1. Fees for existing swimmers fall payable 14 days before the start of new courses. Any fees not received before the start of a course may result in the space being cancelled and offered to those on the waiting list.
  2. Telephone or email notification is required to cancel any spaces. A minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel spaces.
  3. Priority re-booking will be available to all existing swimmers. Re-booking of swimming spaces will commence mid way through the current term. Splash Central will endeavour to contact all existing swimmers on poolside to determine whether they require their space for a new term. If you have not attended swimming sessions and Splash Central has not received your re-booking confirmation 14 days before the start of a new term, Splash Central reserve the right to cancel the swimming space for subsequent terms.

Missed Classes

  1. Lessons missed for any reason, whether, holiday, illness or other commitments will not be refunded or carried over to a new term. Catch up classes are unable to be offered for the Over 3's classes due to high occupancy.  Providing that full payment has been received, the space is reserved for the duration of the course. 
  2. If a swimmer will be absent from swimming due to a serious medical conditions i.e. broken bones, hospitalisation, surgery, Splash Central will reserve their space and carry any payment for the missed lessons over to a new term. In the event that the swimmer does not return  to lessons,  Splash Central will treat each case on an individual basis as to whether a refund will be offered. 

Cancellations

If Splash Central cancel lessons for any reason, a catch up session (where possible), credit for the number of sessions cancelled applied to a subsequent term, or refund for cancelled sessions will be offered. 

Health and Safety

  1.  Customers are responsible for the child in their care at all times (except during a lesson where the child is NOT accompanied in the water by an adult carer)
  2. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their swimmers in all areas of the building before and after their swimming lessons
  3. Splash Central employees will not escort children to the toilet or changing rooms. Guardians must be on hand to assist their swimmers in any event that they need to leave the pool during their lessons. 
  4. Swimmers should not attend their lessons if they are unwell or have contracted any contagious illnesses. Individuals should not enter the pool for a minimum of 48 hours after any bout of sickness or diarrhoea.
  5. Food and drink, other than water,  should not be consumed on poolside or in the changing rooms
  6. We operate a strict no footwear policy at all of our venues. Where possible, overshoes are provided to reduce the possibility of contaminating the pool area.
  7. Prams and Pushchairs may not be taken onto poolside
  8.  Pool rules must be adhered to. Splash Central will accept no responsibility for accidents occurred due to non compliance of pool rules. 
  9. Splash Central accept no responsibility for any damage to belongings or vehicles.
  10. All children who are not yet toilet trained need to adopt the Happy Nappy system. A tight neoprene pair of shorts will fit snuggly over the swim nappy to act as double protection against any 'accidents' entering the water.
  11. Splash Central operate a strict No Photography policy at all of our venues. Parents/Guardians are not permitted to use any photographic equipment, including mobile phones to take photographs or videos of their children in group swimming lessons.
  12. Splash Central will obtain consent  from all Parents/Guardians before taking any photographs or videos for promotional purposes
